This article aims to address the increase in complexity that students face with the introduction of systems thinking in education by discussing visual and graphical tools that help conceptualize the system. Visual tools such as SOCMEs, behavior over time graphs, loop diagrams, and others are discussed as to their uses and advantages in helping students grasp systems thinking.
